The 2019 16 inch has True Tone which adjusts white balance based on ambient lighting. The calibration data for True Tone is stored in the display housing. With LCD only repair True Tone keeps working. With full assembly replacement you get a new housing and the calibration doesnt transfer across.
The P3 wide colour gamut is excellent for creative work. Large display makes a difference for editing.
