The team provide LCD only replacement and full display assembly replacement depending on what condition the housing is in.

The 14 inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro or M3 Max has the Liquid Retina XDR display with ProMotion. 14.2 inch panel at 3024 x 1964 resolution with mini-LED backlighting. These came in the new Space Black colour option alongside Silver. When screens get damaged we can repair both.

Liquid Retina XDR Display

The M3 Pro and Max models use the same display as previous 14 inch Pro models. Mini-LED backlighting, ProMotion up to 120Hz, HDR support. The notch at the top houses the camera. Same display technology whether you have Pro or Max chip.

Inside the display assembly theres the LCD panel with mini-LED backlight, camera and cabling. When we do LCD only repairs we swap just the panel. Full display replacement swaps the whole assembly.

LCD Only Replacement

LCD only replacement means swapping just the internal display panel while still keeping your original housing. Metal frame stays, camera stays, cabling stays. We remove the damaged panel and fit a new one.

This repair is available when the housing meets eligibility requirements. No dents, no bends. No liquid exposure. Bezel and corners in good condition. The team assess all of this at drop off.

Full Display Replacement

Full display replacement is necessary when the housing has damage. Dented frame, bent corners, liquid exposure. These mean LCD only wont work properly.

With full display replacement we swap the entire lid assembly including housing. As such its a bigger repair than LCD only. True Tone may not work after full display replacement.

Space Black vs Silver

The M3 Pro and Max models came in Space Black and Silver. Both use the same display panel. If your Space Black model needs a screen repair we can sort that out. Housing colour doesnt affect the repair process.
